Personal:

I am striving to be the best me I can be. For now, that means I'm going to college at BYU and attempting to walk on to their cross-country team for the fall. I am expecting to serve a mission following the end of the semester. My goal in life is to teach the deppressed how to geuninely smile, the anxious how to stand confident and courageous and the heartbroken and hopeless how to regain faith. The world would be a better place if more people learned how to love.

Awesome mile but the sudden mileage jump the last couple weeks and new shoes finely caught up with me. Left Achilles aches and right arch below the big toe aches as well. If it were later in the season Id push through but as it is, Im not willing to risk more serious injuries. So it's aqua jogging and barefoot grass miles for the rest of this week.

Eric, barefoot plus sore Achilles isn't a good thing. You'll probably want to wear the bulkiest shoe you have for the next couple days to raise your heal high and relieve the strain on your Achilles. But easing the pace is probably a good idea for the next couple days.

Wow thanks. That makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. Thanks!
