Love my life. Personal: I am striving to be the best me I can be. For now, that means I'm going to college at BYU and attempting to walk on to their cross-country team for the fall. I am expecting to serve a mission following the end of the semester. My goal in life is to teach the deppressed how to geuninely smile, the anxious how to stand confident and courageous and the heartbroken and hopeless how to regain faith. | Two mile today. Slow heat in BYU invite. It was a great race for me. Ran well. Consistent splits. Needed a better kick though to get state qualifying.

| Mile and medley relay today. The medley was in the golden hour so that's cool. I ran a great mile. Something like a 1:06 1:11 1:08 1:08. Or something like that.

| Crazy good speed session today. Half kick workout. Starts at mile pace for 100 meters and drops to 400 pace for 200 meters.

That's my best 200 time by a second and I felt so string and fluid. I'm ready to go for region.

Statred strong. In great position with 2 laps to go and died mentally. I lost the mental game. When I needed to go I gave up. I'm still getting to know that race so hopefully Ill do some big things next year.
800m:

I refocused and convinced myself that the 800 was gonna and I was gonna give it everything I had to try to state qualify. Again solid were solid through the first 600. About 28, high 1:00 and around a 1:29 through 600. Lost control of my form and broke down finishing at a 2:02. Exactly the same time off state qualifying in the 3200. Very frustrating cuz I wanted it so badly. But still a good PR.

| I feel like heck today. Taking a break is so hard. Idk how long it's gonna be. I felt really drained after the main block of hard training but by the end of the taper I felt great. So we'll just wait and see.

| So I think I may be developing plantar fasciitis. Spent too much acting like a teenager in bad shoes. It's been tho. I miss running a lot but I'm doing well. Don't know if this is gonna be a 2 weeker or a three. My legs don't feel ready for 5 months of pounding yet.
