Personal:

I am striving to be the best me I can be. For now, that means I'm going to college at BYU and attempting to walk on to their cross-country team for the fall. I am expecting to serve a mission following the end of the semester. My goal in life is to teach the deppressed how to geuninely smile, the anxious how to stand confident and courageous and the heartbroken and hopeless how to regain faith. The world would be a better place if more people learned how to love.

Achy from the weekend but still a great run. Hitting up to 75 this week tho I won't be going much further this year. Any more miles then this is excessive for a developing high school athlete. Spent all day with the Brysons trying to figure out the ways of the fastest.

Legs are getting sluggish. The beginning of the second run was rough. End of the run was awesome. 7 flat just cruising.

11 with Jacob around Cedar Hills/Lone Peak area. 8 minute pace out and 8:30's back. Jake was hurting. Art dye run out through the canyon and back. It was really beautiful.

1 after. Legs loosened up by mile 5. Legs were tired by the end.

One day and I'll hit 75 without even really hurting. This is way cool.

Crazy day. Write more on this later.

4 Stewart falls with Rachel Jensen and Meg

14. It was only supposed to be ten but the Murdock canal trail plus the way I knew how to get to David and Carol's was 14. So I accidentally ran 80 this week. Fun.

Legs felt great. No sluggishness. I stopped thrice for water (3, 8.8, 10) cuz it was super hot. Walked up the big hill by the canyon so I could finish the run with one of my classic 1.x mile tempos. Dropped the average pace from 7:08 to 7 flat that last bit so if someone wants to do the math and tell me how fast I ran for the last 1.33 to do that I might pay them in monopoly money. Plus that pace was off because I accidentally kept my watch running during a water stop. Ran in some new running shoes tonight and my legs feel awesome. No hints of over training. No pain. This is huge.

Did the math. 5:45 average for last 1.33 closing in a 77 400 meter.
